Dr. Paul Zidel was born in Newark, New Jersey, and spent 20 years in training and in academic medical center appointments before moving to South Florida, where he now lives with his wife and two children. In addition to his professional and family activities, he enjoys a variety of artistic pursuits and computer related activites

Dr. Zidel is a hand surgery specialist, exclusively caring for disorders of the hand and upper extremity. As a hand surgeon, Dr. Zidel's scope of expertise includes the treatment of all surgical problems of the arm and hand. This includes arthritis, tendinitis, sports injuries, nerve disorders, fractures and other trauma, birth defects, tumors, circulatory and work related problems. He is skilled in wrist arthroscopy, replantation, microsurgery, minimally invasive hand surgery, needle aponevrotomy, and joint replacement in the hand.
